FAQ
Fresh fish delivery questions
How same-day fishmonger delivery works in London — from postcode check to packed-to-order seafood at your door.
How does Fish@Hom delivery work?
Enter your postcode to see which independent London fishmongers can deliver to you. Shop their live counter stock, check out as a guest, and the fishmonger packs your order to send the same day — often within two hours.
Which London postcodes do you deliver to?
Coverage depends on each fishmonger’s delivery radius, not a single city-wide zone. Enter your postcode on the homepage to see who can reach your door today. We are expanding shop coverage across London.
How fresh is the fish?
You are buying from a real fishmonger’s counter, not a warehouse. Products only appear when that shop has quantity available. Orders are packed to order, so you receive what is on the slab that day.
Do I need an account to order?
No. Fish@Hom uses guest checkout. Provide your name, email, phone, and delivery address when you pay.
How do I know what is actually in stock?
The shop only shows products with quantity available at your chosen fishmonger. If it appears, the counter can pack it. Stock is live, so popular items can sell out during the day.
How much does delivery cost?
Each fishmonger sets their own delivery fee and free-delivery threshold. You will see the fee on the shop card before you browse, and again at checkout.
Can I change my order after paying?
Contact the fishmonger as soon as possible. Once packing begins, changes may not be possible because the fish is prepared to order.
How is payment handled?
Checkout uses Stripe for secure card payment. You pay online before the fishmonger packs the order.
What if I am outside the delivery zone?
The postcode checker will show shops as unavailable. Try a nearby postcode only if that is your real delivery address — we re-check the zone at checkout.
